Unfortunately, after careful consideration, Meningie Gypsum has decided to discontinue the sale of our 10 & 20 kg bagged gypsum.

This decision was not made lightly, and we understand it may bring about some inconveniences for our valued customers.

There is still some limited availability at a few retail outlets, see our listed retailers.

Landscape supply company, Pooraka Sand & Metal is now stocking our gypsum in bulk, and we believe they will also fill a bag if requested (This may be subject to change, so please call them first to enquire).

Bagged gypsum

Our grade 1 gypsum with its high purity and ultra-fine grain size makes it perfect for garden use.

It is great for lawns, trees, vegetables and garden beds.

The distinctive green & white bags are available in 10kg and 20kg units and are fast becoming a best seller for the garden.

Retailers include hardware shops and garden centres, whilst mainly in the Adelaide / Hills region we hope to soon have the bags for sale in other areas as well.

Gypsum is the universal soil conditioner because it…

  • Improves water infiltration

  • Is a valuable source of sulphur

  • Reduces amount of water required

  • Suppresses fruit and vegetable diseases

  • Reduces salt (sodium chloride) levels in the soil

  • Breaks up the clay enabling better growth of plants
